Capturing a moment is such an important part of any special occasion; you want to make sure that you leave that responsibility in the hands of someone you trust to do the job right and well. What led you to wedding photography?
I love seeing the love and compassion the couple have for each other. It makes it so special to be apart of their beautiful day and see all their loved ones so happy about the celebration. I knew I would love to capture the true beauty and emotion of their love for each other.
How long have you been a photographer?
I have been a photographer since 2012
What do you love most about being a photographer in the Sacramento area?
I love the beauty of the area and everything it has to offer , especially the River Delta
What do you love most about photographing weddings?
I love being able to look at the pictures as I am editing them and remembering every moment and all that was said and done to make that picture so special.
If you only had 3 words to describe photography style/aesthetic what would they be?
Fun, emotional, and bold
If you could tell a soon-to-be bride and groom one thing about photography on their wedding day, what would it be?
Really think about your ceremony time for lighting and what time the sunset it and consider doing a first look if you are going to have a late ceremony.
What makes your photography unique?
I create a special relationship with the couple before the wedding and I make sure to continue that relationship even after the wedding is over. I try to really connect with my couples to make they comfortable with me.
Do you believe in the “first look” concept and why would you recommend to a bride and groom?
I think first looks are great for couples who have a late ceremony that is close to sunset. If you are worried about timing and light issues, you should consider doing a first look so you get beautiful sun kissed pictures.
Do you have a travel policy?
I am available for all travel and only charge a travel fee for anywhere outside of the Sacramento area.
